On 12 November, a press conference was held at Crna svinja restaurant in Čepin, presenting the 6th Days of Flavours of Croatian Tradition, which will take place from 14 to 30 November in 120 hospitality establishments across 14 counties and the City of Zagreb. During these days, restaurants certified with the Flavours of Tradition label will offer guests two specially created menus, each consisting of at least three courses, at promotional prices of €19, €25, or €31.
Speakers at the conference included Mislav Matišić, Deputy Director of the Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board; Nataša Tramišak, Prefect of Osijek-Baranja County; Borislav Šimenc, Project Manager; and Marcel Medak, President of the Council of the Flavours of Croatian Tradition project.
On this occasion, 20 establishments from Osijek-Baranja County received the Flavours certification.
The project is designed in cooperation with county and local tourist boards and involves the certification of hospitality establishments that provide an authentic gastronomic experience based on local ingredients, traditional recipes, and the preservation of local customs. The goal is to preserve local culinary heritage, create new tourist products, and enrich the visitor experience. The Days of Flavours are just one part of this year-round project, supported by the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia.
After the press conference, a Project Council meeting was held to discuss the work plan and activities for 2026.
