The Inn Zlatni Lug

Just 4 km from Požega, in the heart of the golden valley that has preserved the tradition and soul of authentic Slavonian villages for centuries, nestled in the endless plains below the vineyards and with views of dense forests, lies the expansive Zlatni Lug estate in the village of Donji Emovci. Spanning nearly 70 hectares, the estate is divided into two parts. The first part, located within the village, includes the accommodation section called Slavonian House, created by converting an old stable, and an inn that offers traditional dishes, including the preparation of one of the region's most famous specialties – the Požega vineyard kebab. Here, in the ambiance of a traditional Slavonian cellar, surrounded by old brick and oak beams, you can sample the finest wines from the Požega and Kutjevo vineyards, paired with smoked meat specialties made from domestically raised black Slavonian pigs.

The charm of this space is enhanced by a collection of antiques that complements the experience, subtly telling a story of the past and the hidden charms of rural life. The second part of the estate, located just outside the village, is intended for sports and recreational activities, as well as outings. It also includes a farming section dedicated to raising livestock for the production of homemade Slavonian meat specialties.
