The story of "Wine Hill" is both complex and simple. On one hand, it would be easy to say that it's a place where you can enjoy fine homemade cold cuts, cheese, and wine every day, while hot meals are prepared only by appointment. However, things are much more complex than that. "Wine Hill" is truly a special place. It's part of the winery of a renowned winemaker from the Zagorje region, who, with a unique architectural feat, created a beautiful old-new wine cellar above the vast vineyards, designed to offer exclusivity and satisfy the tastes of more demanding guests seeking pleasure for their palates. With prior notice and by arrangement, the "Bolfan" cellar offers a slow-food experience that combines authentic Zagorje cuisine with their top-quality wines, along with numerous other benefits of the location, such as walks, archery, and accommodation in five luxuriously furnished rooms. The space is fully equipped for presentations, seminars, and team-building events. There's also the Bolfan wine shop, experience in organizing music programs, and the opportunity to purchase wines and other authentic products as souvenirs. The view of the forests, hills, and vast vineyards is not to be overlooked. Quite the opposite. Right next to the Bolfan estate is the Šijan peak (351 meters above sea level), a beautiful viewpoint from which you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding hills of Hrvatsko Zagorje, the entire Ivančica, Strahinjčica, Medvednica, and Kalnik mountains, and partially the Slovenian mountains, and on clear days, even Triglav.
