Restaurant Aquarius

In Bošnjaci, a village near Županja, just 8 km from the exit off the Zagreb-Lipovac highway leading toward the Republic of Serbia, and on the main road to Gunja and Bosnia and Herzegovina, there is the Aquarius restaurant, which has been successfully run by the Franjić family for nearly twenty years. The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance, ideal for a meal with selected dishes from the local and Slavonian cuisine.

A particular feature of the restaurant is its food preparation, based on ingredients from its own production and locally sourced products. The restaurant specializes in Srijem delicacies such as kulen, kulenova seka, bacon, cracklings, homemade sausages, and pickled stuffed peppers, all made in-house. Along with quality, which has earned it a place among the best restaurants in the area, the restaurant is known for generous portions and a wide selection of quality wines from the Iločki wine region. With 200 seats, the restaurant accommodates both large and small groups, offering a special menu of traditional, Croatian, and international dishes. The restaurant also includes a café with 20 seats and a pizzeria serving dishes from a wood-fired oven.
