Bistro Ribič

Bistro Ribič is situated along the beautiful Gacka River, offering a variety of traditional dishes, including the famous Gacka trout prepared in several ways.

Bistro Ribič boasts the longest tradition of food preparation and service in the Gacka Valley. It is located right by the banks of the Gacka, one of the cleanest rivers in Europe, home to over 25 plant and 17 animal species. Its most famous residents are the native brown trout and Californian rainbow trout. The restaurant, housed on the ground floor of the local fishermen's association, specializes in Gacka trout delicacies and other dishes prepared from fresh and healthy ingredients sourced exclusively from trusted suppliers.

They offer a wide selection of fish and meat dishes, pizzas, and ready-made meals. Upon prior arrangement for groups of 10 or more, they serve famous Lika specialties such as lamb and/or suckling pig on a spit, and lamb or veal cooked under a bell. Upon request, they also prepare vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes for their guests.
