From the center of Pakrac, a fifteen-minute drive takes you to an altitude of 650 meters, to the mountain ridge of Omanovac. Nestled at the edge of a clearing, this mountain lodge features beautifully landscaped surroundings and facilities for recreation and active leisure. In 2014, it was voted the best mountain lodge in the Republic of Croatia.
From the lodge's terrace and the large green meadow below it—one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region—you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley and the nearby town of Lipik. On the terrace, you can savor several simple traditional dishes from the area, among which homemade sausage with sour cabbage stands out. This dish is prepared in nearly all Croatian regions, but here, in the fresh mountain air and made from local ingredients sourced from surrounding farms, it offers a unique taste and exceptional enjoyment.
